You may be asking yourself, who are these InsuraCrop Agents? Are they really the “experts in my field?” The answer is yes, and here is why.
Greg Wieker began his career in insurance in 1989 when he starting working for the John Sieh Agency. Since that time, Greg has sold and serviced multi-peril crop insurance, Pasture Rangeland and Forage coverage, Livestock Risk Protection, crop hail insurances and property and casualty insurance in multiple states. In 2013, he was awarded the first ever Crop Agent of the Year Award by the Independent Insurance Agents of South Dakota and also received the 2013 Making a Difference award from the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce. Greg not only has experience with crop insurance, but also growing crops with his brother on their family farm. With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, Greg is a proud alumni of Northern State University. Greg is involved in the Aberdeen community where he resides with his wife Rhonda. They have 2 children, Mikayla and Malek.
Richard Bachmeier began with the John Sieh Agency in 1992 as their head accountant. After four years of diligent work, Rich also took on a new role as a crop insurance agent. His knowledge, attention to detail and organization make him a valuable asset to farmers and the crop insurance industry itself. Graduating from Northern State University, Rich received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. A proud member of the Aberdeen community, Rich works to improve the city by serving on the YMCA board of directors. Rich resides in Aberdeen with his wife Cindy and their two children Erika and Anthony.
Anthony Bachmeier's career with InsuraCrop began full-time in 2020 as an insurance agent following his graduation from South Dakota State University. During his time at SDSU, Anthony ran quarter miles for the track and field team while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with minors in Ag Business, Entrepreneurial Studies, and Banking & Finance. In 2019, Anthony had the rare opportunity to work alongside the mechanical engineering department on a student led project due to his exceptional academic performance. The project consisted of appying for an $80,000 grant from NASA to build and market an autonomous drone capable of lifting 300+ lbs. After acceptance from NASA, the ATLAS project went on to become the largest grant received in SDSU history. Anthony now resides in Aberdeen and looks forward to opportunities ahead of him.
